This fall we have 1,449 students majoring in Business and Economics at Western Washington University. Your donation to the College of Business and Economics funds scholarships and student opportunities such as internships, travel to conferences, and overseas education. These opportunities allow students to gain an international perspective and to create portfolios full of marketable experience that make all the difference in a highly competitive job market.
As the demands placed on our students in order for them to compete in today’s job market continue to escalate, you can help strengthen our college through several initiatives:
Next school year we will launch a full-ride Diversity Excellence Scholarship to enhance our cultural perspectives and diversity. We invite you to help us provide more scholarships on this topic, or if you have a scholarship idea, let us know!
Help prepare Western College of Business & Economics students to be put on the map. Your support will allow the Dean’s Fund for Excellence to host networking events, professional readiness seminars and bring guest lecturers to campus to enhance a student’s resume. Furthermore, this allows administrative support for our students to have access to employers, recruiters and soft-skill training many companies require.
Our approach to business benefits people, the planet, and profits. We encourage you to take part in our mentorship programs, join our advisory board and serve as a recruiter to show our students firsthand that building business relationships start with building a strong community.
