Occam’s Razor would like to take a moment to thank all of you for contributing to this year’s funding campaign—it has been a tremendous success! All of the proceeds will help us achieve many great things for the Volume 7 Release Party. We will be providing refreshments for our guests and creating large posters to showcase each paper featured in Vol. 7 in a more concise format. Best of all, the remaining funds will provide a kickstart for Volume 8.
On behalf of the Occam’s Razor staff, we’d like to invite you all to attend the Volume 7 Release Party on May 16, 6–8 pm at Western Washington University, AW Skybridge. Free parking is located near the event and refreshments will be provided. For accessibility accommodations, please email occamsrazor@wwu.edu.
Please visit our Facebook event page to RSVP.
We are just over a third of the way through our campaign and are completely blown away by the support we’ve received thus far. Thank you all SO much! With your help, we’ve been able to secure rental equipment and a great venue for OR’s upcoming Release Party. Our editors and designers are busy preparing six amazing papers for publication. Please consider subscribing to Occam’s Razor to have Volume 7 emailed to you for free upon its release.
This will cover the print cost of one 41" x 30" poster, which will showcase one of our submissions in a concise, easy-to-digest format for those unfamiliar with the subject matter. We are hoping to make approximately six posters this year.
This will contribute to the cost of providing refreshments for our Release Party guests.
This will help cover the cost of paying for the venue rental, which includes set-up, tear-down, custodial, and equipment rental fees.
We greatly appreciate any additional donations that can go toward producing a longer Volume 8, as it will maximize the number of opportunities for publication to next year's undergraduates. Our budget currently limits us to publishing five-to-six pieces, but we are hoping to have the resources to expand our reach across campus in the future.
