Our Crowdfunding Groups
The WWU Men’s Rugby Club was established in 1957 and has established a reputation for excellence over the past 60+ years. The program has a dynamic volunteer coaching staff that creates an amazing area for comraderie and competition for 30+ students.
The Vikings have come off of two wins against conference opponents Oregon State University and University of Oregon in order to be the representative from the NCRC conference at the American College Rugby Western Regionals. With many hard fought battles in conference play as well as in non-league games, the team has come together to strive for an opportunity at a national championship. The Vikings look to carry their momentum into their regionals matchup against the University of San Diego.
Your donation will go directly to help the team pay for travel and offset the costs that the students have to cover themselves in our quest for a national championship. We are traveling down to San Diego, California for our regionals match on April 15th which will include multiple days of driving and three nights of lodging. With this match comes the potential for a trip to Boulder, Colorado for nationals. Support from our family and friends and alumni is what allows us to keep our team running and competing at a high level. This fundraiser will allow our team to pay for our travel expenses so all our players have to worry about is playing rugby. Thank you for your generosity!
