Dear Generous Donors and Friends,
Thank you for your generosity and support of the CBE Students of Color Opportunity Scholarship this past year. Thanks to you, we are nearly halfway to our goal of raising $25,000 to create an endowed scholarship fund, which when met, will provide an annual scholarship for students from BIPOC communities in CBE at Western. Without you we would not be able to provide this support, and I want to personally thank you for helping us to reach our goal.
On May 27, 2021, WWU is hosting its annual WWU Give Day event, which provides an amazing opportunity to join new donations with many matching funds, a percentage of all gifts will be matched. It is an opportunity for WWU to unite as a community to support students and programs across our campus with a promise that we will be there to help them meet their educational goals.
I am writing to you first with gratitude for your past support, and with an invitation to join me in giving on May 27 to help us reach our ultimate goal of funding this scholarship completely!
You can learn more about WWU Give Day 2021 here. And, you can support this scholarship on May 27 by choosing this page: CBE Students of Color Opportunity Scholarship.
Thank you again for your generous support of our students!
With gratitude,

Dear generous donors:
Thank you for your support of the CBE Students of Color Opportunity Scholarship! Thanks to you, we continue towards our goal to create an endowed scholarship fund that will support Black, Indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC) students in the College of Business and Economics.
As of today, we have raised just shy of $10,000 towards our goal of $25,000, which will endow this scholarship fund, not including pledged funds. Your support has made this possible, and we are grateful for your support of this important effort.
We will continue our efforts to reach our goal throughout the coming months. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Christa Countryman with any questions at Christa.Countryman@wwu.edu.
Thank you for supporting this important initiative. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you.
