Because of you, our Scholarship Center has been able to provide 37 students with emergency fund grants exceeding $23,000 during fall quarter so far. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support you have shown to Western students through your gifts to the Student Emergency Fund! It is incredible to see that in a short amount of time, you have joined more than 230 other donors in support of this new fund generating more than $34,500 to meet the critical needs of our students. We have already received more than $50,000 in requests from students for help with rent, food, medical bills, purchasing laptops so they can learn remotely and help with tuition because they have lost part-time jobs. Because of you, our financial aid counselors have been able to meet these requests and connect students with the resources they need to be successful during these difficult times.
