Please help fund the first-ever Disability Studies and Action Collaborative's UnConference. This one-day event will invite scholars, students, nonprofit workers, advocates, activists, artists, and other community members to gather to discuss issues of disability, access, and equity. At the UnConference, we will work together to identify problems and opportunities related to disability within our local community, and then create plans to take action.
To help support this new event, we need funding to purchase food, print materials, and to provide financial aid to participants who need it. The UnConference is 100% free to the public, so we rely entirely on donations to continue our mission.
The UnConference is being organized by the Disability Access Center, the Associated Students, and Faculty and students from a range of disciplines including English, Anthropology, Physics and Chemistry.
We appreciate any amount you can donate to help make this event successful and accessible. Even if you can't pitch in financially, please spread the word about this event, and all the future events from the Disability Studies and Action Collaborative.
