The 25 yard sprint is the first event that every new swimmer participates in.
Whether it is a 50, 100, 200, or 500, freestyle is just the right race for everyone to get their feet wet.
Breaststroke is a highly specialized stroke, differing greatly from the other three. A breaststroker doesn't conform to those around them, but instead they proudly stand apart in all their quirks.
Backstrokers enjoy the simple perks in life, like unlimited air. They are kicking machines and oftentimes gracefully glide over the water .
Fly is not for the faint of heart. One who swims fly must be able to push through any difficulty. It might be a hard race, but there is no greater satisfaction than knowing you finished it.
The jack of all trades. This race is for those who can't pick a stroke, so why not do them all? IM swimmers are the wildcards and backbones to every team.
